/me thinks im shy w social anxietys and doing is better than thinking.

Hello everyone! How is the experience? Couldn't decide on PD social or here and then I did. I should probably be in PD with the other space cadets but I do love the story of humans on Earth.

Well it's kind of a relief. I've been posting while on some home-brew ayahuasca, and I'm sure you guys think I'm nuts posting about a "president trump." Yeah, it is a bad trip so far.
 
Nah, trip away. It was just me, I've been lame and shy for months but coming out of my shell again. I still have not had ayahuasca. Always joked I was saving it for later in life. 25 years later, the joke rings true.
 
I just want the news back!!! Fox is all on hollywood and pmsnbc is all trumps a moron and rex smarter. Wtf, where are the fires, floods, and Norks?
 
That's the second time I've heard "norks". Northern Oklahomans? Kansans? No R-K-S. No recombinant King Salmon, big in Oregon maybe.


Anyway the fires are in what used to be Santa Rosa. I can't even imagine all the poor rehabs up in smoke (that's sarcasm) and the last of the Boontling speakers. It's also usually pretty wet up there (for California).

OK, Napa and Calistoga are smoldering singed. I have no love for the rehabs, and they may run on spa vacationers, but it is mostly poor people in the towns, that do all that laundry and fancy cooking. They may have a tough time. I'm not too worried about the boutique vineyards owned by Hi Tek executives from Palo Alto. Or their awful art collections.

I also bet it rattled all the meth cooks in the hills on the Baryesa side.
 
"Norks" is a slang term for breasts where i'm from...

As in "phwaor - check out the norks on that sheila" kinda vulgar australianism.

Should be "phwoar!"

Analogous to..."cor blimey" or....um - "gee whizz"

Anyway, i'm very much opposed to a war on norks.
Just leave them alone, prezidunt dump!
 
Phwoar is like Aussie for "crikey" or "bloody oath mate" which are Aussie for "that thing is remarkable and worthy of exclamatory emphasis".

For some reason "phwoar" has a pervy edge to it. It's like the sort of thing women would get cat-called at them walking past construction sites in the bad old days.
 
How do you pronounce that though? Why a "ph" and not and "f"? Like, Fwore! Then it sounds like Odin has a lisp.

We just got hit with the Santa Rosa smoke, 200 miles away. That's kind of far, but we get everyone's shit air eventually. Weird because it smells different than the usual fire fog--sour like grass and newspaper. I kind of hope my old rehab is part of it.

Its pretty phonetic. Fwore is close enough.

Fire is scary stuff, we get them most years up where I live. There's been a lot of burning off done recently, I quite like the smell, woody and eucalyptic.
 
Australian bushfires smell great, but they're so fucking scary.

Eucalyptus trees are so full of volatile oils that they literally explode in fires.
California's wildfires sound awful, and it's not nice having your air choked up with smoke like that.

Safe breathing, scrof.
 
My town is quite used to this, just not from that far North. Number one or two worst air in the nation (San Francisco folks idle their hybrids in traffic and believe the cool sea fog is a result, but their smog just blows in to us, where it sits). Highest asthma rates. Pollution-related deaths equal car accident deaths. Thanks, Bay Area, you environmental champions!

It's why when I left I started smoking. Too much oxygen elsewhere.
 
You should just vape. You get the nicotine, the flavor, mix em up and delicious nicotine minus the pollution and taxes. Damnit, now Im preaching.
 
Wouldn't vape here, even if I'm used to getting beat up. I'm down to two hand-rolled a day, with a lot of gum.
