Long term Cannabinoid Use and why it's impossible to wean off them

I have no experience with synthetic cannabinoïds, but from what i've read about them, they cannot be considered to be as safe as weed. I do know from experience though, that extremely large amounts of cannabinoïds do in some kind of way mess with you dopaminergic system. There is a method i sometimes use to get incredibly stoned. You might want to try it, because maybe it's better for you than synthetic cannabinoïds, but there is a side effect..You basically let hash or powdered weed dissolve in something like olive oil, or hemp oil, or any other kind of fat, and swallow all of it in one take on an empty stomach. So the trick is to get as much cannabinoïds in an as small as possible amount of fat. When i start taking more than 1.5 grams, i do get hangovers though, or rather, i feel very tired and exhausted for the next two days.

I've smoked and taken huge amounts of pure dronabinol. It's extremely potent and produces effects dissimilar from synthetic cannabinoids.

No, it has happened with all the full agonist cannabinoids I have taken.

^I was just implying they are safe as recreational substance if used correctly
You are still grouping hundreds, if not THOUSANDS of drugs together, most of which are completely untested, and claiming it's safe.

I agree with Huffman's statements.

Your point is correct. I'm talking pharmacologically and the effects they produce, which is the same regardless of agent.

He was talking about synthetic weed.

The cannabinoids are not dangerous like that. That causes those effects because people OD

But they are relatively new, so we don't know if they may have side-effects that cannabis itself lacks. For instance, they may be hard for the liver or kidneys to process. That could be because of the chemical structure of a particular substance, wich is not reflected in the direct pharmacology in the sense of receptor affinity and so on.

Have you also experienced that drained feeling afterwards? To me it suggests that extremely large amounts may be not as harmless as normal amounts. I think it's dopamine-depletion or something. Excessive use may just do something with your dopamine levels. And that will in some way translate itself into experience, pleasant or unpleasant.

Yes. I do with marijuana as well. It must be THC. It does this with motivation/mood as well

Other cannabinoids do not do this to me.

Wait...Ugh...who smokes pills? You know that shit is suspending in solution that is NOT meant to be smoked, right?

Marinol/dronabinol is synthetic weed put into solution because synthetic THCA and synthetic THC are both less stable than their "in-vitro" counterparts (in pure form) and the solution helps their stability/longevity/shelf life.

Even the in vitro pure THCA and THC have terrible stability but good enough to sell at a retail level but good GOD are the synthetics worse. That's why they are in an oral solution. DONT SMOKE THAT SHIT

You are all learning nothing from it. I learned what pure THC feels like smoked. You all do not know what that feels like

The strongest dronabinol pill is 10mg THC, so your 200mg experience means that you smoked a total of 20 pills that contain about 95% filler which are things like color dye and titanium dioxide.

That pretty much sucks anyway you look at it.

I see my possibly useful comment regarding kindling being worse with synthetic cannabinoids because of pharmacokinetic factors might have been lost in this shit storm

I didn't specify the ROA for that dosage. That was oral, of course. There is no way that would be inhalation.

And no the kindling was not lost. That played a massive part: cannabinoid receptors are the most prevalent receptors in the CNS, more so than for any other neurotransmitter

Glad to see it was not lost. Break out the Perampanel? Although I know you were having trouble with cognition and such before too though from other drugs...

OP, I'm not sure precisely what is going on with you. I am not aware of any studies that have been conducted that address the level of chronic exposure you're talking about.

As for the chest pain, it has been documented that these drugs can cause refractory SVT. So you may want to look into that.

It's a complex issue, and there are ethical limitations that are preventing research into what you are doing to yourself. Be careful.
