RCs what's your top 3 Anxiolytics ?

I want to add Propranolol as a "safe" alternative to cope with the physical symptoms.

1. Lyrica...I would kill for a script of the stuff.
2. Xanax/Etizolam/Clonazolam tied with Oxymorphone/codone//kratom.
3.5-apb...The come up is rough but once it hits I would be hard pressed to quit cuddling with my girl even with the house burning down around us.

Soma, high grade indica, and moderate doses of dxm all get an honorable mention. After I started smoking weed every day I had a hard time talking to girls that I had not already dated but there was at least three times my freshman year I would drink a bottle of tussin and come home with phone numbers of some of the hottest girls in my grade.

Phenibut is good but it totally quits working if I take it more than two days in a row. I had success with kava kava once with a sample of a 40% kavalactone extract. I have another 1/4 pound of it stashed around here somewhere. Last time I tried it I just mixed with orange juice like I do with kratom. I'm going to buy some soy milk tonight and some cheese cloth and try doing it the right way, that is if I can find the damn kava.

Diclazepam is incredible as an anxiolytic, probably the best I've used. Diazepam, very obvious. Flunitrazepam is effective at obliterating inhibitions, though not exactly suited for just anxiety-relief. :)

Benzos (Lorazepam/Tavor - why is this not mentioned so far?) - Weed - booze.

Decent Amph (not that caffeine polluted crap) also does the job if I don't overdo it as well as opiates (lowdose heroine comes to mind, especially useful for combating stim induced anxiety and panic).

I forgot about Lorazepam. +1 to that.

As cliché as 'Dutch Courage' has become, a few units of alcohol can provide remarkable anxiolysis. Hell, go to any city centre on a Friday and try to count exactly how many inhibitions people have left! ;)
I'm not sure what disappears faster; inhibitions or dignity?
;)

I'm gonna throw in a strong camomile tea with some flubromazepam too for good measure

Yeah phenibut is a bitch you gotta hit only once a week or once every 2 weeks to get some fun out of it..

Ps: sorry for evident mysoginist metaphore but it was soo funny in my head.

So sadly true.
1. Opiates (can be broken down further into what opiates have the best anxiolytic effects) + alcohol
2. temazepam + alcohol
3. Alcohol + phenibut

Diazepam is my anxiolytic of choice.

The most effective anxiolytic IMO is MDMA, provided you stay hydrated and don't overheat. It's the weirdest drug I have ever taken - in some ways it actually feels benzo-like.
My theory is that we have all being lied to about its chemical structure and that MDMA actually stands for methylenediazemethamphetapam... the first of the substituted phenzothylamines.

In second place: diazepam and temazepam.

In third place: Soma, GHB and alcohol.

Opiates are OK for anxiety (fentanyl turns me into a complete asshole though).
I love weed but it's not that great an anxiolytic and can even have the opposite effect. Low dose d-meth provides a very nice mood lift but 'anxiolytic' is not a word I would use to describe it.

Opiates - Oxycodone , hydromorphone , oxymorphone , Heroin , hydrocodone , PHBF . Benzos - Xanax , Valium , Clonazolam , Flubromazolam , Kpins. Alcohol to as I tend to drink till im numb . Meth in low doses helps my anxiety to >150mg . Weed gives me anxiety ,but maybe its the OG kush ,and purp kush that my buddy sells is to strong . Never had reggie mid grade so I don't know .

I wouldn't consider Opioids as providing the same type of anxiolysis as Valium and other benzo's. Benzo's are great for allowing one to cope with the stressors in life. Nodding in and of consciousness after smoking/shooting half a gram of Smack is much more of an 'oblivion' type experience - stress doesn't exist when you're too numb to feel it, or indeed anything at all.

I find Alcohol is the WORST Anxiolytic made by man sure it disinhibites u n makes u more sociaal while drunk but it fks up ur GABA system for atleast a couple of days after , rebound anxiety much

Explain more about methylenediazemethamphetapam where did you find your research ? Why does methamphetamine help my anxiety ? I have to admit the many times I took actual MDMA it was benzo like ,and thats why I ask about some research you may have .

In order from most anxiolytic to least.

1. Alcohol
2. Benzodiazpines/Barbiturates
3. d-Methamphetamine

LOL it was a joke. I made that word up, as well as the word "phenzothylamine" (a portmaneau of phenethylamine+benzodiazepine). MDMA is an amphetamine, structurally and pharmacologically.

Why does methamphetamine help my anxiety ? I have to admit the many times I took actual MDMA it was benzo like ,and thats why I ask about some research you may have .
That'll be the serotonin release. Serotonin makes you feel mellow and happy.

Amphetamine, methamphetamine and MDMA (3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine) all increase monoamine levels: dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine. Basically:

Amphetamine = mostly dopamine and norepinephrine.
Methamphetamine = strong effect on all three.
MDMA = mostly serotonin and norepinephrine.

There is definitely something calming about meth (esp. compared to plain amphetamine) but it's way too strong a stimulant for me to consider it anxiolytic.
MDMA has such a powerful effect on serotonin in relation to the other monoamines that many people (like us) don't find it to be stimulating.
