So it pretty much sounds like your gonna have to put up with some bullshit like that of you want the quality. I guess it really comes down to how much of a gap in quality level between him and your other connects. Is it big enough to justify putting up with some bullshit?

Ha, welcome to dope! Shit like that always fuckin happens! Sounds like this guy is having second thoughts about dealing at all, and you can't really blame him! His brother got popped, there's a good chance he's being watched, and they're just waiting for a good opportunity to catch him after he re-ups....you don't know what's goin' on on his end! You're gonna find yourself pissed off all the time if you keep going, because that kind of bullshit is common...

You need to be careful too, because if they're watching him....they're always looking for a customer to flip and make a buy for them....It's a stronger case than just pulling him over and catching him with however many bags...

Exactly. I've had plenty of dealers that didn't give any credit, but the real pros do. Only after you've shown a history of spending a lot of money with them in the past though. If I am with a dealer like yours, who I've been with that long who wont give any credit like that, I'll tell him to fuck himself and find another connect. The good dealers know that, so they treat their customers right.
 
^Yeah, a good customer who knows how to handle their shit is every bit as valuable to them as a good connect is to us...
 
^ I was thinking the same thing. Could barely make out the details cause of the resolution. Had to zoom in and see the needle to understand why you wrote that.

That's pretty cool though. I don't really know much about tats so I can't even begin to guess how much money and how many hours go into something like that.

That deal that they're offering you is pretty standard, it's pretty much exactly what I got when I got popped 16 years ago for delivery...

I got caught in a "sweep"...They caught a few kids for dealing or possession and let them off if they made buys from everyone they knew....They got like 20 of us, because the snitches knew this whole extended group of people....

6 months is pretty standard with that much probation....The only way to get no jail time is to take like 12-15 years of supervised probation! In the end, youre better off taking the time to serve, but when youre looking at 6 months, most people are willing to take anything to get out of the time....

If thats the first offer though, theyll cme back with something else...

I had this one dealer who I was always good with paying up front, and the few times he spotted me (no more than $30 worth) I always paid him back at or before the time I said I would. Then one day he decided not to front me anymore because other people owed him money and didn't pay him back, which had nothing to do with me but he wasn't hearing that.

So when he would turn me down for a one day front I would tell him the next day when I was copping from him that if he had been smart and fronted me that I would be paying him right then for last nights front and the stuff I was getting right then, but since he turned me down he was getting half the profit he could have been getting.

Then on the other side of the equation there are dealers that spot me more than I would like, and sometimes without asking. Like if I was just looking for a half bun they would come through and give me a full one and tell me just to get them back next time. And other times when I was copping for others and my dealer was in the area early he would just drop it all of then and have me pay later, which always worked out but I never liked doing that.

Feels good to be able to pay for tats again; I was always covered but just started back in sept again going back once a month. was no way spending $200/mo during my run days on tattoos. now I just get tattoos of my past use, ha.

I guess it doesn't really require a MBA in finance or bus. mgt. to sell dope, just need a good connection and a little leg work. I think the biggest ? with fronting is the dealer's financial situation. If they are treading water - needing to sell out their stash to re-up their supply and shit - then they are less likely to think about that lost profit from not fronting a person who consistently pays them back in reasonable time.
