Ah ok thanks man. I guess it's not a complete waste of time then. That shit looks so damn laborious and dangerous tho but you gotta a price for big money (well except for the lottery) right? I would do it though if they put me on TV. I bet they break even just from the TV money.

yeah, man. it's fucking hilarious. and of course the original aussie episodes are funnier;) i don't mind the american adaption, though, as it's still pretty funny. just the hollywood bits that shine through are a bit stupid but the rest of the goodness makes up for the lame bits.

have you seen the aussie episode where they go visit the chicks parents up in nambour? to save spoiling it for you if you haven't, i'll just say you get to see some decent scenes of her in the nude...with her parents:D

i'm sitting here sweating my ass off. since the rain has cleared the humidity is through the roof and it's 35 celsius today - so nice, hot and sticky. i've had 2 cold showers today just to keep myself feeling fresh and because i'm doped up and showering just feels so damn good.

thats part of why the aussie version is better cuz theyre allowed to get away with so much more, like nudity, fuck, cunt, etc. all things that wouldnt be allowed on regular american television

not to mention that just hearing their aussie talk makes it more interesting
 
speaking of american adaptations ..has anyone watched the UK shameless? i know its the original version and prolly the better version but my brother said he watched the first couple episodes and it was exactly the same as the USA version, and so he stopped watching it. my question is has anybody watched them or no? are they the same cause honestly if they are then im not even gonna bother. i have a hard time watching the same thing twice in a short span. if its been a few years or i really dont remeber ill rewatch something or if its an outright classic, generally i wont rewatch things.

i love the office but ive never watched the UK version

and PFF...hell on wheels is a dope show . ive seen all of them and i cant wait til the new season. i also am sick oif waiting for GAME OF THRONES.. i dont really like the fantasy type of shows or movies. like ive never watched LOTR or harry potter..i just dont like them types of movies but GAMES has got me hooked and i want to see this shit
 
I'm so sad, I don't know how I can get season 2 of Hell on Wheels. Only season 1 was on netflix. I refuse to pay for cable, it's way too expensive.

I'll have to see where I can get it online. Season 3 starts this spring.
 
Hell on wheels probably is a good show but deep down I will always hate it for replacing Rubicon which was my favorite show at the time. Rubicon was a damn good spy show despite the fact that I was one of a hundred people in the world that actually watched it.

Hell On Wheels is pretty bad ass. I love historical dramas, especially during the civil war era. Really cool shit.

no its a show on HBO simply titled "Girls" written/produced by/starring lena duhnam (i think)


its actually a really good show even if its aimed at chicks

My chic is really into it. She got me to watch an episode and it was actually pretty good. HBO, showtime, etc, make bad ass shows.

It's a show about the American post civil war effort to build the transcontinental railroad. In the first season, this guy named Bohanan joins the hell on wheels group in an effort to find and kill the men responsible for killing his wife and kid during the civil war. There are a bunch of sub stories pertaining to the freed slaves working the railroad, the whorehouse presence, the constant fighting with native Americans and the turmoil of one of them joing the group and converting to Christianity, and finally the trials and tribulations of the owner of the company to keep the project going. It's really interesting.
