what is the resultant products of combining sodium thiosulfate with lugol's solution?

would it still carry the antiseptic qualities of lugol's?

reason is, lugol's stains everything red, but when combining sodium thiosulfate, neutralizes the red color, no stain, but... will lugol's retains it's antiseptic qualities?

Sodium thiosulfate (Na2S2O3) will stoichiometrically reduce iodine (I2) to sodium iodide (NaI), while itself being oxidized to sodium tetrathionate (Na2S4O6). It will likely lose most of its antiseptic properties as it will no longer contain a strong oxidant.
