My missing puzzle piece

I can't find it
I've searched beyond the scopes of my heart
Underneath my capillaries and veins
Through the constant blood flow of my anguish
And yet it still beats

Who am I
The questions manipulates my life
Painting me into the image of a unknown figure
Locked away forever in the dark shadows
I am the key

My fingers slip and fumble
As I grasp for reason and answers
My heart palpitates to cardiac arrest when I think of you
Killing me over again each day

I try to arrange your face in my mind
Molding you into who you should have been
The colors and figures always erasing
My eyes and brains doomed for never understanding

You are the piece that I need
Ending the continuous cycle of tears
no longer aiming carelessly through the night
no longer leading a life filled with brail memories
You are my missing puzzle piece

The puzzle is finished, what more is there now?
Curiosity is vanquished, becoming disallowed.

Or is it the start of beauty and the beast?
The dance has just started, the caged animal released.
