Mid Morphine ER with oxycodone IR?

I just had surgery, my oxycodone wasn?t working for the pain, the doc gave me morphine sulfate ER and said try that without the oxy, now I?m in more pain. Can I take the oxy too?

If your doctor does not want you to take both the morphine and oxy together, likely the reason for this is because the slow release ER formulation. Wait until it wears off and then you can resume only taking oxycodone and let him know what you're planning to do. Hope you feel better!
