During the recent prune, N&PD was found to be in need of help. As awesome as Sekio may be, it was a one mod show. In an effort to help out with the prune, S.J.B. offered to pitch in and help go through threads, for which we are all grateful. This was a temp position, where SJB was given mod rights over the forum (and thereby showed up in the listing of mods when viewing the forum) but no title change was done since we expected to return to normal after the prune.
Since the prune was suspended, we never returned to normal...and in fact, Sekio and S.J.B. have agreed it's working well to have more than one mod in there. With that, we'd ask you to give a warm welcome to S.J.B. as he settles into the j.o.b.

Normal practice to add a mod is to hold an open call and bring in apps. Because this started as a 'temp help out' we didn't run an open call, but it's worked out well for us. I say this so nobody considers this add of S.J.B. as an inside job or that this in any way should inhibit any of you from applying when an opening occurs. It's just the nature of how this instance played out, and the fact that S.J.B. not only was very familiar with the forum content but has shown himself to be a great moderator for BL overall. We'd be doing ourselves, and you, a disservice by NOT allowing him to help out in here on a more permanent basis.
