Hello Bluelight! I've been a member for years but forgot sign in info so I'm starting anew. I guess it doesn't matter as I've never posted....

Born and raised in Boston, been in NC for past 10 years... I'm 38, female. My main DOC is alcohol and heroin but I've dabbled in everything.

Glad to say that I'm in recovery, have been for almost 3 years with the help of suboxone. (DON'T ride my ass.. I would have never done it alone).

Hope to meet new people and continue to add knowledge....

I was born in a Massachusetts suburb - Have been living in Boston now for three years. And i've got to admit that i haven't checked out the city life much in other states, but i really do like it here. Real walk-able city and proper assholes . How do you like it compared to NC?

On another note, as you're in recovery, you may find interest in the Sober Living sub-forum. They focus on support groups, medication, and other various options for sobriety.

Thanks for signing up - i'm sure you could spread some knowledge to others looking to recover.
