Most of the comments are pro-cannabis. Here's one that's not that is amusing:

On behalf of a major corporate client, we write to the FDA regarding the potential re-scheduling of marijuana.
We would urge the FDA to NOT RESCHEDULE marijuana, because of its abuse potential, deleterious effects on human health,
and stigma resulting in the diminution of real estate property values. Our client has sustained a loss in property value as a result
of a marijuana dispensary sited proximate to four major commercial properties in Harvard Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts. This loss in value approximates $29,050,000.
We rely on the research of Dr. A. Eden Evins of Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School on the impact of cannabis
on the American Population. Etiologically, marijuana is an abused substance. The FDA should only consider allowing active ingredients that have been fully "defanged" and provide
no psychedelic properties. If you eliminate the drug "high" then the substance is strictly medical. In light of some state's legalization of recreational cannabis, we seriously question
the efficacy as a prescription drug. By definition a prescription drug provides medical benefits. Recreational substances should not be confused with prescription medications.
We must protect children at all costs and if marijuana is allowed it should not be allowed to be sold within 1,000 feet of a university, public park, or places where children commonly congregate.
Marijuana is no different than cocaine, heroin, or other Schedule I substances. Marijuana should never be allowed to be smoked, vaped, or produced in edible candy form. If any active ingredient's in a to be
allowed prescription are permitted, it should be in pill or cream form, with all psychedelic effects defanged. Cannabis should remain a Schedule I substance forever.

^ lol $29,050,000 in lost property value? i wonder if anyone reading this could work out what businesses these are, in order to spread the word that their lawyers are trying to use them to keep cannabis illegal?

such weak, ridiculous reasoning - and it's the sort of thing that could (should) hurt thwe brands of the businesses behind this kind of bullshit, if you ask me.
i mean, i would boycott any stores that were behind crap like this.

^I would too lol. If a property is worth 29mil it needs to be devalued anyways, that's insane. My grandmother owns a several hundred acre ranch and it's 'only' worth three million lol. And that's real land, you can actually use. I imagine the guy losing property value just owns some mini-mall he wants to rob the town's population with.

Uh oh. Here I go, making my way to... SOCIALISM! EEP!

Tramadol and pregablin. Jesus they are after everything now

Tramadol isn't even a good drug. I only like its metabolite, O-DT, because it's significantly stronger at pain killing and doesn't risk seizures. Who would even abuse Tramadol? My dad had some on the counter last time I visited (because he had some pain but it didn't do shit for him) and I didn't even feel the urge to snatch any. Blech.

Yeah let's open the public comments up so we can trash all the positive ones and cherry pick the negatives

Some people, like myself, metabolize tramadol very well and get pretty good effects off of lower doses. I've ruined my tolerance and now get sick off of an effective dose but back in the day it was pretty good.

Interesting list. I would be careful on it. Technically, all listed "medicines" could be considered useful medicines including the fentanyls and synthetic cannabinoids. Just because little Johnny or Kingpin Karl misuse substances doesn't mean there medical value is any less then other medicines. Also look out how you answer questions in regard to how they may be future scheduled. I am in no way coaching or saying cheat. I am saying look out for trick questions. Thats all IMO.Speed King Thanks for making this public!

AMEN brother. Time to start some real digging for answers!

I metabolize it well too but the fact that it's an SRI is very off-putting.

There's a plot of land in Beverly Hills worth a billion dollars I believe.

Outstanding. This idiot savant might even claim that atoms are not to be trusted because they make up everything.

My comment to the FdA: they are all great to get high off of. Get the stick out your ass and take try them
