Oily Morning glory cwe

I did a cwe on about 150-200 morning glory seeds, coffee filter ripped and liquid is oily? Is it safe to drink?

Hard to say mate. Did you thoroughly wash the seeds before performing the extraction? If so, the oilyness could just be from the starch and fats found naturally in the seeds. The seeds themselves are not toxic, but commercially procured seeds may have traces of pesticides which is why they should be washed, or preferably grown yourself.

They were grown by a family member, were probably okay but kept telling me they were poisonous blah blah so dumped the tea. Thanks anyway.

Was a small ammount of seeds at least not much of a loss lol
