Prednisone and Serotonin syndrome

Prednisone and certain other steroids have been proven to deplete levels of serotonin in the brain often at excessive levels. So in theory, could it treat a hypothetical case of ss in comparison to Cyproheptadine which only blocks serotonin production but does not decrease levels?
