does ephedra usually test false positive for meth?

With typical immunoassay you'd expect about 2/3rd of results to be false positives, depending on how much ephedra you consumed and your general urine pH and hydration levels.
 
Had a friend get a false positive for bath salts. I believe wellbutrin can cause false positive for meth as well if you're on that.
 
I?ve usually doses earlier in the day, but last night I dosed later. Would 6 hours make a difference between a positive and negative test or does metabolization take a long time and those 6 hours not matter either way? I?ve heard 1-2 days
 
If the test is a crappy one, yeah. Most drug tests from dipsticks and panels have to be sent in for lab confirmation, anyway. In my home state, that's the law.
