I think there are too many things to mention about Mac O.S and its varations, to warrent a general thread.

Okay, anything Mac. Be spicific to keep track.

I wan't to know if anyone enjoys one Operating System over another. I am going to High Sierra, but can buy/download any mac O.S and play with it.

I have been using Snow Leopard 10.6

Any comments on the other O.S I cannot upgrade directly from this computer. I must goto at least El Capitan to goto High Sierra.
I can test or explore any other OS. High Sierra is the highest OS that will run on the system, which is fine with me.

    10.6 Snow Leopard
    10.7 Lion
    10.8 Mountain Lion
    10.9 Mavericks

    10.10 Yosemite
    10.11 El Capitan
    10:12 macOS Sierra
    10:13 macOS High Sierra
    10.14 macOS Mojave

Any Apple/Mac/iPhone, etc. Android is a seperate forum.

I liked Snow Leopard and stuck with it for the longest time. Some of the more recent changes (like killing off iPhoto and other apps, changes to the way files are viewed etc) just seem unnecessary and control-freakish on the part of Apple.

I'm now on High Sierra as I have a new Mac though, and must admit I prefer the visual simplicity compared to some of the skeudomorphism of the past.
