Minocycline - neural inflammation hypothesis?

So apparently this anti-biotic can regulate inflammatory disorders such as nitro-oxidative stress.

I'm getting this from:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4293162/

Further to that article - this seems to be somewhat the causation factor for many psychiatric related illnesses; neural inflammation.

Which, I'm guessing, depending on how it goes, could open up a whole drug target area.

I know there was a single case of a dude that developed psychotic symptoms, which were somewhat brought into remission via a seriously hefty regiment of anti-psychotics and GABA'ergics - but resolved entirely following a bone marrow transplant.

Point being - let's say hypothetically inflammatory disorders/immune dysregulation, ARE the focal point cause of mental illness - manipulation of neurotransmitters via pharmaco agents - is kind of akin to continuously topping off an oil tank, when the problem is a leaky delivery pipe.
It's an analogy but, you get the idea.

Anyways - anyone have insights/input here?

Experiences of heard of anyone having success with minocycline or drugs/anti-biotics that target primarily inflammatory or immuno conditions?
