just surious because the etizolam is not a true benzodiazapine but flutoprazepam is indeed a benzo. wondering if mixing the medication would be more beneficial for recreational use. thanks!

The thiophene ring in etizolam is a bioisostere for the benzene ring on a benzo, meaning they both fit into the same binding sites on the same receptors.

Messing with benzos and avoiding addiction is generally a very tricky issue, and requires you to carefully monitor your intake. Mixing different benzos is only going to make that ever so much harder.

Really, you might want to keep the flutoprazepam (which most likely serves as a pro-drug for its ultra-long-acting metabolite, 2'-fluoro-nordazepam) around if they keep shutting down vendors, and you find yourself forced to do a taper...

Etizolam is a thienodiazepine; it hits the same receptors, unique subtypes as all/most Benzodiazepines do.

Think of it like Ambien or lunesta; Rhee Z drugs are structurally unrelated to benzodiazepines, yet do hit GABA-A Receptors, albeit with low-moderate affinity, and they are selective for A1(A2?) receptor subtypes, causing a strong (er) hypnotic is effect relative to their potency, and they are not suitable anticonvulsants

Back on point, etizolam is quite potent, and seems to hit multiple subtypes; studies even indicate that tolerance to its anti-anxiety effects build more slowly, or not at all, making it a more suitable medication for chronic use; theae findings are preliminary, however, have no doubt, etizolam is *basically-•* interchangeable with benzodiazepines (they are both diazepines, right? ;) )

Mixing them for the hell of it is I’ll advised. And although this isn’t entirely inappropriate, I am closing it(or attempting too)

We don’t really advise double Benzodiazepine/Thieno’s for strictly recreational use, with no other details. Just try one if you have to/need to; etizolam is generally an effective anxiolytic, medium duration -dzp with a fairly fast onset, and an active metabolite; fairly potent, somewhere between Xanax and ativan Luck to You

The other posters advice holds. They need to quit closing vendors, mine fell off the f?ing radar
