transdermal test enthanate/other esters

I have a question, apologies i this has been discussed before.

Can testosterone esters be administered as oil-based transdermal forms? Logically there's no reason that it wouldn't work, namely because testosterone esters are effectively The Most Fat Soluble Shit In The World, and td testosterone is already a thing a la Androgel and friends.

I'd assume that the half life would be quite crazy long and it would also be way more tolerable than using it IM (oil injections IM for drug delivery in general tend to be painful).

I actually don't think there's anything wrong with it per se (haven't looked in a while) but the atomic mass would impact absorption and esters are more than base form but not sure how much off the top of my head.

The half life would actually be quite short since the ester isn't preventing metabolism.

It's also going to be much less effective on a mg per mg basis. I've done TD and I'd go so far as to say almost worthless for our purposes.
