    Charles Manson Quote and a Song Using It
    ?I don?t really know what sorry means?

    "I understand procedure, I understand war, I understand rules and regulations.

    I don?t understand sorry.

    I don?t really know what sorry means.

    I?ve been sorry all my life.

    I?m sorry I was born, that?s what my mother told me."

    ?Charles Manson

    My hopes are blighted, my heart is broken, my life a burden, everything around me is sad and mournful; earth has become distasteful to me, and human voices distract me. It is mercy to let me die, for if I live I shall lose my reason and become mad.
    Interesting share. Thanks.

    Shielding off the weakening beams of salvation shining upon the mournful gloom of Earth
    I've been sorry all my life.

    Remorseful for what? You people have done everything in the world to me! Doesn't that give me equal right? I can do anything I want to you people, and anytime I want to, because that's what you've done to me! If you spit in my face and smack me in the mouth and throw me in solitary confinement for nothing... what do you think is gonna happen when I get out of here?!

    Go placidly amid the noise and haste,(unless you need to defend yourself from harm)
    and remember what peace there may be in silence.(unless the noise liberates your spirit)
    As far as possible without surrender
    be on good terms with all persons.(unless they are toxic)
    Speak your truth quietly and clearly( unless you are amongst bigots and charlatans);
    and listen to others (unless they are manipulators and traitors),
    even the dull and the ignorant;
    they too have their story.
    Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
    they are vexations to the spirit.(unless they are as righteously angry as you)
    If you compare yourself with others,
    you may become vain and bitter;(or you may feel better about yourself, on reflection and depending on the persons in question)
    for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
    Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
    Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
    it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
    Exercise caution in your business affairs;
    for the world is full of trickery.
    But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
    many persons strive for high ideals;
    and everywhere life is full of heroism. (and cruelty but focus on the heroism)
    Be yourself.(but not around ingrates)
    Especially, do not feign affection.(unless you are in a threatening situation where it will maintain your survival)
    Neither be cynical about love;(unless it is feigned)
    for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
    it is as perennial as the grass.
    Take kindly the counsel of the years,
    gracefully surrendering the things of youth.(apart from play - play is essential to quality of life)
    Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
    But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.(unless they are cathartic for you)
    Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.(some of saccharine falsity)
    Beyond a wholesome discipline,
    be gentle with yourself.
    You are a child of the universe,
    no less than the trees and the stars;
    you have a right to be here.
    And whether or not it is clear to you,
    no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. ( you are not a passive object;if something is ethically abhorrent you should feel free to intervene)
    Therefore be at peace with God,( with yourself)
    whatever you conceive Him to be,( imagination and RL healthy experiences; self reflection, enables conscious to grow - seek them out and cultivate an ability to discern good from bad experience)
    and whatever your labors and aspirations,
    in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
    With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
    it is still a beautiful world.
    Be cheerful.( or not - just be at peace with yourself and your life and nourish appreciation for your luck and others' kindness)
    Strive to be happy. ( or not, be content with the paradox - we are all going to hell in a handbasket - be greatful for the small joys - you have the power to build upon them.Be kind to yourself; be compassionate, be empathetic as you will understand you/we are all; most of us aware, at our core; of our vulnerablality, we are finite beings )

    'Failure' is a construct of those who wish to control you; even your own shadow can subjigate you when you are fighting things that you need to release.
