What do I need to know about Amyl nitrite?

I would have posted in -Other Drugs but this is way more active and technically Amyl not a drug anyway, I know that much. Is there anything one would need to know before trying to use it? I know the basics do not swallow or ingest in ANY way other than inhalation etc. I only have what looks like 1ml left in the bottle is that enough to do anything?? any tips or cautions are welcome.
