What is your favourite obscure/rare non-English word (and what does it mean)? Bonus points if it doesn't have a literal translation/describes a very specific thing or feeling for which English has no single word for.

As a multilingual linguaphile, I have much more than I can count. On my mind currently, tho, is 'geborgenheit'; it's German, with no exact translation, and describes intense positive feelings, usually such as when you suddenly experience a massive amount of love for someone or the feeling of coming home for the very first time.

(My handle is also a *slightly* obscure German word. It translates literally to 'celebration evening', but is used to describe a cause for celebration or the feeling of a good celebration itself.)

Nice topic! Sadly I have -10 language skills :(

Geborgenheit's a great word though :)
