i?m trying to get my sugar down to recommended limit. so i?ve been reading nutrition labels. the amount of sugar in things does not make sense to me.

how does a tablespoon of honey contain 17 grams of sugar? there is no way a tablespoon of honey weighs 17 grams. what do they mean by grams if not the unit of weight we at bluelight are all so familiar with? or does it? i just looked up that a tablespoon of water weighs almost 15 grams. that seems impossible to me.

thanks!

One gram of sugar (or anything) is one ounce of sugar (or anything) divided by 28.35.
