Which OTC meds have you tried for nausea from opioid withdrawal? Which worked best? And at what dose?

Possible choices might include:
Bismuth
Cyclizine
Diphenhydramine
Meclizine
Dimenhydrinate

Thanks!

Cylizine, plugged, will work within minutes. Its even helped me not lose my lunch mid mad dash for the shitter with a hangover.

Prochlorperazine (5-15mg)
Promethazine (10-25mg)
Metoclopramide (can?t remember doses)
Cyproheptadine (4-8mg)

Depending where you live some of these may be Rx only, or only OTC for migraine-associated nausea (you could lie though).

Cyclizine is the most effective OTC antiemetic. That doesn't mean it will be the best for you, but it is the first-line medication.
