Temazepam and Xanax combo

Just wondering how each would be together (lowering the doses for each obviously)

On their own, they only feel slightly different, the benzos are very similar, but some people claim to be able to tell them apart, based on their effects. If you take a half dose of temazepam and a half dose of xanax, it would probably not feel very different from a full dose of one benzo.

I consider temazepam to be one of the more recreational benzos by itself. Taking it with Xanax would be too sedating and knock me out.

Temazepam is mainly sedating and muscle relaxing, a great sleep medication. A bit like Diazepam (valium) just slightly more sedating. You just feel mellow on them and you can enjoy that mellow feeling at moderate dosage, able to sleep if you want but if you don't want to sleep you can stay up - unless you take a high dose.

Now xanax...it's a strong anxiolytic and maybe the least sedating benzo ( still 1 out of 10 get knocked out by a little xanax - benzo effects are sometimes individual )
So normally you don't fall asleep when you do have strong insomnia unless you take a super high amount. It's a waste of pills for that purpose. It makes you calm and anxiety free, that might be enough to for some people without strong insomnia to fall asleep.

Mixing those 2 isn't dangerous but at the same time it doesn't make much sense.

Temazepam for a nice mellow couch lock + sleep

Xanax for horrible anxiety and still functioning at work or whatever you have to do.
