Can low testosterone cause cardiac problems?

I've been having cardiac trouble for about 2 months maybe more. They started after i came off a long blasting and cruising cycle and quit taking benzos. Was on cycle for about 12 months then was forced to come off after a motorcycle accident and long hospital stay.

I haven't gone back on the steroids since but i can feel that my testosterone is low. Decreased confidence, numbness in penis and decreased libido.

For about 2 months i have been having these episodes where my heart rate sours upwards of 200 bpm.

Last night was the worst. I was doing some shopping when suddenly i felt like i couldn't breathe. My whole left arm and face gone completely numb and i had radiating chest pain stemming down my left shoalder. Paramedics arrived and said i had a problem with the electro pulses in my heart. They also said that my heart rate was irregular, it was going up to 140+ then dropping immediately down to 100 then back up again. But it wasn't going slowly down from 140 to 100 it would just drop then go immediately back up. It was apparently going down to 100 and up to over 140 over 10 times each minute.

It stabilized once i got to the hospital and the doctors fed me the same old shit again. If its not happening right now we can not help you. Discharged back to GP.

As said, this has all started since i came off steroids and benzos. Was on 1-2mg Ativan for 3-4 years prior to this. Been off the benzos and withdrawal free for about 6 months.

Doesn't sound gear related to me at all. Never heard of this before. Probably best to see a cardiologist

^That. Low test/off balance hormones can potentially cause health issues in the very long term but I'd definitely go see a cardiologist for something like that

Are you taking any other medication? And do you have a family history of cardiac issues?

Initially reading it, it sounded like a panic attack.

There have been studies on it, and it's possible. But it doesn't sound like that's the case with you, as you say it only began once you got off benzos and AAS.

Go to a specialist and get your heart checked, otherwise it's all a shot in the dark.

Hey man, hope you ever read this, or anyone else who might find this useful, so I recently ran a cycle 500 mg test e and 600 mg eq, during the cycle I also used MDMA and other recreational substances, so one day I took a heavy dose of MDMA and felt like I was having a heart attack, so i had my troponin levels checked and an ecg done which came back fine, since then I had palpitations and sometimes irregular heartbeats, not as bad as you but sometimes (rarely) my pulse will fluctuate a lot like from 50 to 90 over a few seconds, basically ive had 6 ecgs done, troponin checked, an electrocardiogram, and 3 cardiologists have checked my heart and everything is perfect, I have developed nasty heart anxiety from that mdma experience and steroid use so thats the most probable cause of my symptoms, I also get shortness of breath too (only at rest, I can do cardio at 185 bpm no problem) which is most likely anxiety, I would say it is most probably anxiety but if it is going above 120 bpm with irregular heart rate you should definetly check it out since it could be ventricular tachycardia or atrial fibrillation. Take care man

Btw low test can definetly cause cardiac issues but over several years, not 2 months... its most likely anxiety or an arrythmia
