The aim of the current study is to assess subjective day-to-day executive functioning in cocaine users and controls, using the self-report measures the Executive Function Index (EFI) and Behaviour Rating Inventory of Executive Function-A (BRIEF-A) in an online study.

Brain structures don?t always relate to function, ie brocas area use to be thought to be just related to speech production but now found the brocas area and its afferents are all involved in production and perception
Therefore looking for functional degeneration could be futile in identifying executive function deficits.
Are these deficits seen across spectrum used of heavy drug use. Lab based measures have focused on cocaine addicts which present decades of heavy drug use.

This study consists of a quick initial collection of basic demographic data, then a short drug history questionnaire followed by a measure of subjective executive functioning. All data will remain anonymized!

The study will take approximately 25 minutes to complete and a chance to be entered into a ?25 high street voucher draw.

This study has been approved by the University of Liverpool Psychology department ethics committee on January 11th 2018
