Heroin First Time Heroin use and looking for help/harm reduction

Hello there,

First time posting here so please bear with me...

SWIM is looking to smoke heroin for the first time (and only time I may add!)

Please I understand that people will say don't, its a dangerous drug and will only leave you in a hole. And I do appreciate this, but SWIM does wish to try it.
SWIM has his personal reasons and has experienced first hand what this drug can do to people - so he is informed.

Basically, I am after some advice in terms of what to go for... (SWIM Is planning to buy online - done it many times so no issue there) In terms of dosages, is 0.1g enough? Afgan? Turkish? #2 or #3? Not really sure what it all means. Smoking on foil. That's where SWIM is after some help on this one!

SWIM has done lots of research already but realises that the knowledge of folks on these blogs is much better than reading random blog posts!

SWIM has safeguards in place, will buy fentanyl testing kit, and beautiful girlfriend who will be there to make sure SWIM is all good and dosnt do it again!

Why does it have to be heroin? Why not just try oxycodone or hydrocodone? The risk of ODing on heroin comparatively is a lot less and it would be way easier to control your dose with a pill. I don't see why anyone would start with heroin just to try. No matter what "preparations" you think you have to not get addicted, that little devil telling you to do more will always be on your shoulder.

A fair response - and certainly something to consider. but its because a member of my family kicked the bucket because of his use (indirectly). it sounds fucked that I still want to try it, but I do - the desire has always been there and if I were to take oxy or something similar I think I would still want to try it. weirdly its more a therapeutic thing than recreational. to see what its all about....

sorry for the dark post but I'm being honest with this one.

do you think the risk of oding smoking is high? even if I were to take it SLOW with my girlfriend making sure I don't get too exited...

Can I recommend some quick reading first? Just glance it over if you have a sec, and I really do agree with trolling123 about trying a known standardized dose of something relatively safe before going to the H, especially since most of what's out there isn't H anymore but Fentalogues. Welcome to BL though regardless.

Hi Jekyl.Just had a read through all of that and most of the comments - and 100% I do appreciate all the risks involved here I do. and certainly some of the excuses will be discusses with my gf to make sure I don't try again.do you think the h on the darkweb contains fentanyl? surely due to it working on reputation it will be h and nothing else? from my experience everything on there is 100% cosher. (although ive never bought h or know anybody who has) thank you again!

Well at least you seem honest in admitting your wanting to try H more because of the romanticizing portrayal it has to some and because you had someone close who used it. Smoking is most likely the "safest" way to ingest unless you just snorted a VERY and i mean VERY small amount, which i would not suggest. I have not taken H so i can't give you a recommendation on how much to dose, but i will recommend you get as little of it as possible so that your "one time trying it" doesn't turn into "hey next weekend let me try this again". If any is left over then get rid of it after your one time, even if its a waste. Having it on hand will almost guarantee you try it again. I am glad you're open with your GF, but even with her by your side saying she won't let you do it again, her letting you even do it in the first place tells me it might be possible for that to not be the case. Sorry i am not trying to be rude either. Starting with H is like jumping over the line instead of just crossing it like if you tried oxy.

Not saying you can't get a fair price for as-advertised product, but you can't have any fucking expectations of honesty.

Also, we can't give out advice on which style or flavor of heroin is best for new users to sample, sorry.

There is nothing special about heroin compared to certain pharmaceutical opioids. I'd rather inject dilauded over heroin any day, much better rush.

Staying on pharms and away from heroin is usually a top priority and desire for opioid users these days with fent laced heroin. Its just economics that causes people to use heroin as its so much cheaper. Don't see any good reason why you should use heroin first, unless of course its just to sound cool to your friends and tell them you did heroin.

Any I've never heard of someone using heroin just once, and I read this board a lot. I guess you plan to be the first person to do so? Its more likely to just have one run with heroin, but not use it only once.

It's exactly the same as your tramadol/crushed IV oxycontin, whichever was lower.

0.1g is about a ?10 bag, can you roll joints? much easier than foil for a newbie and less of a risk of OD, but I have never heard of anyone OD on foil. Put 1/2 of your bag in a joint and see how you go, and always have a straight cig at hand after your smoke, makes effects of the heroin last longer (gouch). 3 or 4 are your best grades for smoking

really I cannot thank you all for all the points of views and words of warning. I cannot judge my dose based on previous oxy/tramadol dosages unfortunately. so start with quarter of 10 bag and see where I go? less?

interesting idea about putting it in a joint... I looked into it and seems very wasteful - which isn't a huge issue as I don't mind spending more than normal. and will be throwing away whatever is left after the night Is up!! AS IT IS A ONE OFF THING... I do appreciate the words of warning though!

for note though: this is not a "oh mate I did H" sort of deal. I certainly wont be bragging about this...infact I'm quire ashamed I might try it. its very much a therapeutic thing, understanding why people I know got into it. and turning my back on it. sounds odd I know. if H can ever be considered therapeutic...

I've never IV'd tramadol or talked about it. Crushed oxy is not the same as heroin dose wise, oxy might be medical grade but H is a lot stronger. Do you want this person to die?

I meant your past threads of injecting crushed pills and complaining about dosages that made no sense.

Please kids, don't inject crushed pills. Most of them will gel now and at least kill you quicker, so there is that, but don't do it anyway. Tramadol is not a good opioid high, and don't take more than 450 in a whole day, or you risk seizures.

Anyway, thread is about asking to get high, with mostly good advice against it and referral to our stickied heroin thread. Could have been closed from the beginning.
