Is there a way to challenge ridiculous infractions and warnings?

I have received both from biased authoritarian mods for disagreeing with their opinions.

You can escalate it, but in my experience it is rare to have something overturned. That is especially the case if you have a long record here.

nobody is infracted simply for posting a difference of opinion. but some confuse a difference of opinion with disrupting, inflaming, abusing and insulting and trolling and then cynically play the martyr, complaining that they're oppressed and that their rights are being trampled.

from the blua:

1. Bluelight reserves the right to take action to restrict or terminate your access to Bluelight at any time for any reason.
2. Bluelight reserves the right to publish, edit, delete or restore contributed content as it sees fit.
...
4. Bluelight reserves the right to edit any user profile at any time for any reason.
5. Bluelight will remove any content from its sites which Bluelight, in its sole discretion, determines to be harmful, offensive, or otherwise in violation of these policies.

if you wish to escalate a complaint, there's a procedure outlined in the greenlighter's guide.

There have been more than a few very questionable decisions recently and the affect on the community isnt a good one.

Mods should be fully accountable for their decisions and what they are basing them on.

Blrs would help themselves a little by reading the ban and infraction system and also ow the mods keep records of individuals as outlined by TLB in 2010.

If you dont know about it or want to know further information as to what your status is then ask the mods.

There was worry that people would have targets on their backs as a result and unfortunately it appears that its true.

The infraction system is completely different and seems the go to when dealing with select people.

If the link doesnt work, please look in support archive a few pages back regarding the original temp ban system and compare it to nowaday .
