I had to ask for an increase in my MMT dose as I started a new, more physically demanding job. Slow going, only 5 mg every other week. I also started having IBS symptoms and have NEVER had diarrhea while on methadone (>10 yrs), always constipated. Anybody know of a connection between IBS and methadone? Could diarrhea affect my dose? The clinic doc and my PCP aren't very knowledgeable or interested. Just trying to get stable and feel "right".
