Pregabalin addiction

Hello Bluelight,

I come here to seek help with my pregabalin addiction, firstly i want to say that i have Extreme social Anxiety and i can't see a doctor, and i have to buy my pills from a friend who is prescribed them.

Now i'm taking around 1000-1200mg of pregabalin a day and it's really fucking killing me, when i wake up i instantly snort 300mg and take 300mg orally. one day i didn't have it and had extreme anxiety and panic attacks. now i've been taking that much that when it gets to around when im about to go sleep i feel really depressed and shitty. it has really messed with my head too and i just want to be clean from it but its hard

Given your circumstances I would try a slow, gradual taper. If you can get hold of some clonidine, that will also help ease withdrawal symptoms. It's a blood pressure med but is also sedating. It would probably help you most around bedtime.
