Anyone tried it ? What was your ROA ?

What sort of dosages are we using ?

I was taking Oxycontin daily for about 2 years.

I started off just taking 20-60mg here and there and ended up with a massive 250mg a day habit (on top of 60mg of methadone and 100mg+ diazepam)

I was taking an 80mg and chewing it up and snorting a 20mg and then I had 150mg of the OxyNorm IR liquid (Which is IMO the best way to take it, it kicks in after less than 5 mins)

Sometimes I was taking up to 500mg a day, it got very silly. I had access to it through a family member who was prescribed it so it was always there for me and hard to turn it down!

I liked the rush from insufflating but I enjoyed the mellow high from chewing. I always liked to snort half and eat the other.

But yeah if you've no tolerance I'd start at 10-20mg, it's a really nice high. I wish I still had access to the stuff :(
 
Thanks for the input, I only planned to try a couple of tabs. I'm not a huge opiate lover in all fairness.

Definitely for the best man.

I was never an opiate lover, always more into my MDMA, LSD etc. But then I got a liking for Oxycontin and I had a virtually endless supply of if, for free! So you can see how I got hooked haha. I so wish I had hated it.
 
Better than heroin for me :) started off with 10mg a day for a few months then got up to 400mg daily with jumps from 30-80, 120-180 etc without any probs

10mg was incredible in the beginning, I wouldnt go above 20 the first time to be safe
 
For me i get a some most months and i like to smke some gear then snort half a 0c80 or chew a whole one and snort half then the other half a while later. i find the 3 keeps me stable as i take .5 of gear a day.
 
Hi,parachuting & chewing worked the best for me. I had some 80 mg long release tablets (only ones I could get hands on in my country), with very low tolerance I used to snort about 20-40 mg.Another thing I did was snorting a line then parachuting some,and when the parachuted oxy peaked I used to snort another line. (Not a good thing to do with low tolerance as you would get nauseous and very sleepy) Also only the few times after a tolerance break were fun, after that most of the time I was in the bed sleeping. for a first time user the safe dosage would be 10-20 mg max snorted or 20-40 mg orally ( old format long release ones not the new ones the US people get).for instant release you could try less. but keep in the range of 10-30 mg mainly if it is IR.
 
Yeah, I used to be on OC80s too, the old ones that one could grind up to powder, add H2O, filter, micron filter for safety then shoot.

Never been a huge fan of oxy though really. I'd like to try oxymorphone though, and hydromorphone. But oxy has been a letdown really, there is sod all rush on IV, even with large doses, and unlike most opioids, it has a lot more tendency to make me vomit than others. Also, highly reinforcing, compulsive tendencies to it, despite it being more or less a drug completely lacking in a good reason for that to be the case.

But dose wise, when using them, I'd typically shoot a couple of 80s at a time (bearing in mind tolerance), although I've always vastly preferred dipropionylmorphine personally, as opioid of choice.
 
Nothing has ever beat oxy for me when my tolerance was low but its a bummer once it starts and so hard to get through the wds to get it down. I need stuff like clonazepam to do it now

GPs should give injection solution oxycodone for people saying they shoot their pills like Canada is starting to instead of cutting them off knowing theyd just get some gear/fentanyl or something else filled with adulterants and unknown shit. wheres the respect for fellow human beings..
 
I've tried OC's a few times, even got my grubby mitts on the OC80's, but have always found it underwhelming. Tried both oral and nasal ROA's. I love opiates in general but oxy is all nod with no euphoria to me. I prefer DHC or just good old fashioned morphine.
 
both oxycodone and morphine IR could last longer like tramadol or hydrocodone for me but in terms of feeling and lack of bad side effects its incredible. another difficulty is I need a very high dose (2 or more oxycontin 80s) on extended release to feel anything now and gps are pricks about high dose oxy prescribing
 
Do you get the non abuse oxy or the original OC80's. The oxycontin here is almost impossible to crush, has a polymer matrix in it to stop you snorting and it turns into a gel. It why i only ever get oxynorm ir caps as i showed my doc studies about how oxycontin does not last 12 hours, in a lot of people its 6-8 therefore the prescribing of twice a day creates a shortfall before next script and that Purdue pharma has been sued for 100's millions of dollars for advertising it as a 12 hour pill. Oxynorm IR is way better anyway. Much less filler if you intend to snort but oral bio is far better. Sometimes i snort a 10 or 20 and eat another 30mg and thats me done. I dont use more than once a fortnight though.

In the UK we get the original OC's. I've had OxyContin and Longtec brands, both easily crushable, both made by subsidiaries of Purdue.
 
Yeah its the original in the UK for some reason, can be crushed up still and there are other brands of extended release like longtec here

Probably because it's cheaper and we don't have widespread abuse of oxy here

Oxycontin abuse just isn't seen as a big problem in the UK like it is in the US and there hasn't been any need to introduce a tamper proof version.

It's expensive enough as it is...although the longtec brand is half the price of the oxycontin brand (100 quid for 56 x 80mg versus 200 quid). and the 2 are literally identical.

I found 6 of the longtec 80s in my bathroom cupboard the other day aloing with a 50mcg/hr fentanyl patch, a box of viagra and some otger miscellaneous bit and pieces.

Took the oxy and fentanyl back to the chemist but kept the viagra (obviously :))

Some of the insane lengths Americans go to to try and get around the polymer matrix in the US version are just crazy...like grinding it up with dremmel, baking it in an oven and letting it sit in a glass of Pepsi for 12 hours (seriously) the thought that some might actually be injecting the end result just makes you cringe TBH

google crisping oc80's i use to be on a forum (ADH) and this was discussed at much length - does it work FK's, i still chew and snort the unfuckedwith oxy's - longtec.

Yeah...

I haven't been on pain management for a good few years and always seemed to have more than I needed... I must have kept stashing stuff in random places cos keep finding things like zomorph, oxy fent etc in random locations.

What's ironic though, is how much i suffered whem I decided to stop everything and all the time there was probably a CD cabinets worth of random shit around the house that I didn't even know about...

But that's probably for trhe best cos as you know when you're really suffering horrible withdrawls the temptation would have been extreme.

I did take a photo of them for posterity first though...lol

 
Enough if anyone has anything constructive to post PM me with it and I will re open the thread. I do not know what has been said anywhere else - I an sick of seeing people loose their heads over internet posts and it is not going on in here right now.
