Why does my meth end up on the left of my pipe?

So lately when I've been smoking I'm noticing that my meth is like burning upwards towrds the left of the bowl and I'm rolling just fine, it just bugs me because I'll think my bowls out then see a big glob on the left side of the bowl but I didn't roll that far up. Do you know why this happens? Like its spreading in weird directions....8(
