Bit of an odd situation... i live in the UK where most of us use baccy with our bud. Getting some shatter for this first and probably only time ever... so i am excited. My problem is I have nothing to smoke it out of except in a J, but I can't afford any bud along with it... so will have to have it with baccy. How consistently will it burn vs tobacco and how fast/slow, I know that shatter burns a lot slower than bud but what about tobacco? Also any general tips on smoking shatter in a j would be appreciated.

i dunno if it is too late, but i hate smoking concentrates in a joint.
if you can find an "oil burner" type pipe, that would be the ideal cheap method, but also the hot-knife method will work. you could also sacrifoce a thin metal spoon, make a funnel or use a funnel to capture/ inhale the fumes as you heat underneath the spoon.
it also makes for an easy-to-measure, easy-to-use edible ingredient
