(Amphetamines) Sexual Frustration and Increased masturbation?

first off, let me say that Adderall is my favorite drug HANDS DOWN.
I sometimes take between 100-300mgs recreationally, even though I know this is dangerous. I also have a HUGE tolerance because I've been taking it for 7 years. I take 30mgs every day though, for ADHD.

I cannot have sex on this drug.
It's near impossible to achieve an erection while engaging in foreplay.
However, when I masturbate I am able to achieve an erection and I can masturbate very frequently while I'm tweeking.

why is this? Is my mind too focused and stimulated, that I cannot shut my mind off to have sex?
if so, why am I able to masturbate?

Amphetamines do odd things to your circulatory system, which men lean on very heavily for erections. For me I found dosage had a large impact on my ability to have or maintain an erection, with higher doses causing it to stop working.

It could also be a matter of stimulation. In sex, sometimes while changing positions, putting on a condom, picking up a toy or for a million other reasons, stimulation can completely stop. When you are masturbating, it doesn't have to. Maybe you become more susceptible to losing it if stimulation drops off for a few moments.

It's called vasoconstriction. Your veins get smaller which makes it much harder to get enough blood into your penis to maintain/achieve an erection.

if you look at too much porn without speed i find that it makes it harder to cum during normal sex. something about linking your orgasm to very visually stimulating material warps your brain.

maybe something similar is happening here albeit at an earlier stage in the whole process
