What does subscribing to a thread do??

Will it send you a notification everytime there is a reply? Or what? What's the difference between subscribing to a thread and the "check threads you've posted in" page?

Yes, you'll get an email with new replies to a subscribed thread, but you can choose (from general settings) whether you want to be notified by email immediately, daily or weekly, or whether you just want to be notified through the control panel above ^^.

The difference is you can subscribe to any thread, even ones that you've not posted in - ones that you're just interested in reading all future updates to, for example.
