Ok, simple question:

Which was better, in your opinion:

Alice in Chains Unplugged Performance or Nirvana Unplugged in New York?

If anyone applies, WTTC

AiC for me and its not even close. But I just like them way more in general, so I guess im biased.

Yeah, AIC was the better band; and thy had 2 faces, so to speak, in Staley and Cantrell

And ?Got Me Wrong? Unplugged, one of the best performances ever; Over Now(although like Jerry?s electric guitar in the studio version) also underrated renditions like Down in a Hole, and, of course, Nutshell, being a/the big 4

However, Nirvana did there set in a single take, and, their songs translated better into acoustic in some cases; however even sick and near the end of his rope, Layne Staley gave a magnificent performance, Kurt had melody, and something special, however Layne had the voice

Cantrell being the most technically skilled musician, although you could throw Grohl in later; Cantrell and Kurt were the best songwriters, although when Layne did it he did it well

All INHO

and, to the many lost greats of the era and otherwise:

RIP, and long to Layne Staley
