So I was newly prescribed Ambien- 30 10mg pills. I binged on 200mg within 3 days, even IV some the last day. Today, the first day without any Ambien I am having the absolute worst anxiety of my life. I do not typical abuse benzo and or z drugs.... my tolerance is like 1mg of klonopin is good enough for me....
I have 12mg of klonopin. No Ambien left as I gave some to my girlfriend.
I just took 2mgs of klonopin a couple hours ago and the symptoms subsided 90%.
Can someone please advise me on a fast taper plan with the klonopin. I am NOT dependent on klonopin and havent even taken any benzos or z drugs in the past 40 days or so. And like I said, it took 2mg to being me down from the sheer panic I was enduring when usually 1mg is suffice for any anxiety at my baseline.
I can go a week with taking 2mg of klonopin a day and stop with no rebound anxiety.... this whole ambien binge really fucked up my GABA system somewhat fierce.
Any advice is welcome.... I will NEVER put that shit in my body ever again.
