“Police are investigating a mass drug overdose at a property housing backpackers and students in the inner Perth suburb of Victoria Park.Emergency services were called to the Colombo Street home just before midnight after reports nine students were unconscious or violently ill.
Seven males and two females were rushed to three separate hospitals around the city.
Two of the students are in a critical condition in Royal Perth Hospital.
Police have cordoned off the property and say they hope to release further information about the incident later today.”
