N&SADD Social V1 - One step forwards, 2 steps back

Indeed I sure as Hell wasn't thinking of 40 much less beyond, when I was your age....
Let's see when I was 20 I was engaged, newly, to my first husband. We did so many fun things.

Poker games
Concerts (mostly country music. Sorry.)
Family gatherings
We went to adventureland a couple times. That is Iowa's rinky-dink excuse for a St Flags style fun park. Lame in comparison.
He took me in the fields in the tractor & combine
We went to church alot n believe it or not so many church activities were actually Fun
We went to bars once I was old enuf..... but not many as I was almost constantly pregnant. ?

Life was fun at 20.
It's slower paced now but still rarely a dull moment.

^^^it's over / around $30 a person to get in the gate now. Same like six flags as in youre entitled to rides n shows.
Pay extra for food games etc. Fear God its expensive. My husband n i took.... three of our kids n the younger nephew in summer of.... 2015 but only cause my husband's job gave us free passes n $50/person in spending bucks.
Hell we still dropped a load of cash but the kids had fun & we got some now-famous photos of the kids.

Six flags is soooooo much better. I've never been to Wisconsin Dell's or any other parks.

I haven't been to an amusement park in years lol, not since I was 16 and I was too coked out to remember it, he'll was shooting up in the damn bathrooms

Lol maybe, and worst case scenario I can always get a bag in the park lol

This has been a lazy Saturday. Been in bed all day while reading a Dean Koontz novel. I got a box full of used Koontz novels from a friend. I read 'The bad Place' last weekend which kicked ass in my opinion. Today I'm reading 'False Memory' which, so far, is just ok.

Have only gotten out of bed a handful of times to use the bathroom and to quickly make something to eat. Haven't been this lazy in a long while.

Wife got annoyed with my laziness and went to the casino with her mom. Guess i can keep reading uninterrupted now :)

Just downed 1.2g of phenibut. Don't know why... I always regret doing so as it always leaves me with a slight rebound of anxiety and insomnia for 2-3 days afterwards.

I really liked Dean koontz's version of Frankenstein, it's a good read.

I'll have to read that one too, isn't in the box of Koontz novels I have though.

This book is getting damn good, wasn't impressed at first but now I'm hooked. I've been reading for last 12 hours with few short interruptions. I almost feel nauseated from reading so long but I don't want to stop.

It's actually a series, I had them all for a while. They are damn good, koontz really pulls you in

Might have to look into it lol merry Christmas everybody
