Vivatrol and insomnia

I went on the vivatrol shot on Monday and have been off heroin for almost 2 weeks. I have gotten 3 hours a sleep all this week and it’s friday today.

Has anyone else had this happen to them? I just read on the website that it is a complication of this medicine. If it’s happened to you how long did it last and what did you do to help it? I’m gonna call my dr today and see if they will give me Ativan which I know they won’t cause I’m an addict. Please help I’m loosing my mind

honestly I think it's just part of the withdrawal still because I'm on the same timeframe as you and I don't sleep at all.

Tons of meds that will help besides benzos. Gabapentin, trazadone, remeron and Seroquel immediately come to mind. I would recommend gabapentin and remeron out of those but all are decent. You sound desperate it just oozes out of your post. Are you ok? It's not ok for the doctor to just give you the shot and send you on your way. You need more help then that.
