Purity effects on the drug

I read someone saying the higher purity of coke the lesser the comedown.

So does this mean that the molecule is altered or something?. Because I thought that purity only means you will need to take more of the drug.

Any input please?.

Some common cocaine cuts are psychoactive (levamisole, caffeine) or otherwise liable to cause problems when taken to excess (benzocaine, lidocaine)

active cuts lke ephedrine,caffeine,levamisole=harder crash
inactive cuts like mannitol=less space for the cocaine in nasal cavaties because some space is taken up by cuts so cocaine is absorbed slower=less of a rush,prolonged comedown because there will still be cocaine absorbed when the first cocaine alread wears off
