Has anyone used Lyrica for Opioid w/d? What was your experience?

I am considering this to get out of the tapering game. I am still so anxious even with my meds.

How long were you on the Lyrica and did you have dependence?

I have used Lyrica when I was in withdrawals and it helped a lot but remember that withdrawals from Lyrica can be bad and it is hard to quit for most of the people.

I cold turkey detoxed from 600 mg of Lyrica day for probably two months. I had never felt such desolation and lovelessness and lack any kind of hope. I asked my doctor if he would consider putting me on the Lyrica to get through this detox because I’m still so weak from my surgery and he refused. In the end I’m pretty damn happy that he didn’t. Fear was leading me to make bad choices.

I found gabapentin to work better for opioid withdrawal than pregabalin. Baclofen probably worked a little better than gabapentin.
