Info How to reply to anyonymous thread post?

I asked a question which was posted in the anonymous section and transferred to the appropriate forum on the site but it seems that It's mandatory that I have to sign in to reply back.

Is this the case or can I remain anonymous when posting replies in that thread?
 
^ the only forums in which you may post as an unregistered user are anonymous and support. once a thread is moved, there's no way to respond unless you register.

you get to choose your own handle when registering so you're free to choose something which will not reveal your identity. if you are worried about staff seeing your email address (admins and senior moderators can) then use an alias or temporary email.

^ i just checked the forum permissions and unregistered users can not post in dc. must have been an issue at the time.
