Drug fueled gambling binge/addiction

Gambling is fun but it’s a once and a while thing for me. I learned my lesson with drugs and gambling the second time i went to a casino.

I had plenty of adderall and booze up in the hotel room so me and my friend kept running from the casino floor to the room taking more adderall and booze in between. I think we started on the slots around 1am and didn’t stop until 6am. The only reason we stopped is because another friend woke up, realized we weren’t in the room and went down to the floor to find us staring at a machine sweating our asses off.

Luckily we each only lost like 500$ that night. Any of you guys have any good drug fueled gambling binge stories?
 
That actually sounds like a worst nightmare-type scenario 8( I think you were lucky to 'only' lose $1k between you. I generally try to avoid going in to any situation where being able to think clearly and objectively is critical while high.

Having said that, I'd probably need to be high to be convinced to go gambling in the first place. Except the stockmarket. I can handle that kind of gambling. And maybe cryptocurrency trading ;)
 
Well i live in Laughlin Nevada it's a small gambling town population about 8,000 people. It's 85 miles south of las Vegas. Anyways there isn't much to do here but meth, alcohol, & casinos lol & I'm 25 so since i was 21 I've had many nights getting drunk and tweaked out gambling on the slots until i lost all my money. Which is never more then a 100$ lol i swear on those penny slots i can make 20$ last an hour betting 10cents a spin usually won't win much but it's good experience and fun. Drinking all night doing a bump in the restroom every couple hours haha
 
I've always been a sluts (or hookers) and blow/speed type when it comes to hedonism, gambling I don't even take 1 drink, at most a few puffs of weed. I generally don't get on hedonism trips though just bars, parties, people at the apartment chilling drinking smoking weed poppin bars molly etc.
 
I've lost a lot of money gambling whilst drunk and on benzos. All inhibitions out the window on that combo. Next morning ... horrible.
 
My wife and I like to cruise and I try to enjoy my daily opiates while sitting at the black jack tables. Occasionally I do the slots but it's too easy to lose a bunch of money in a very short time. And I feel more in control of the outcome with black jack although that may not actually be the case. Who knows?

OMG I passed that place and wondered if it would be any fun... nothing but meth, alcohol, and casinos?

I should have hijacked the bus to make them pull over =D
 
Oh Captain it's very fun if you're a tourist! After living here for some years now the same 8 casinos and bars/restaurants aren't as fun but it's right along the Colorado river so summer time is more fun for sure. Drugs & alcohol are plentiful for sure lol
 
In my original post i forgot to mention that besides feeling like death the next day due to the incredible amounts of amp, alcohol, and losings i also had some kind of ptsd. I could still hear the bells from the slot machine playing in my head for the next day after, it was a jarring experience.

I should add that i went back to the same casino, this all staged in greektown by the way, while drinking plenty and taking quite a bit of kratom and had an amazing time.

This past adventure i managed to restrain myself at the casino and came back with a couple hundred more then i left home with and that was after the strip club, bar hopping, and the hotel. So i’ve had it both ways, but im never taking amphetamines at a casino again.
 
I generally avoid gamblng unless it's poker. While playing poker, I try to stay at 3-4 drinks so that Im calm during playing but not loose my inhibitions. 2 or 3 times though, I overdid it with booze, heroin or coke, and lost a lot. Coke was the worst.
 
I tried to gamble on slots in a casino while high on a-pvp. Didn't work out so well...

Mostly I was paranoid that security somehow knew I was high (ridiculous, I doubt they would have cared much) or that shadow people were following me around.

I spent more time going to the bathroom for another bump and aimlessly walking around the rest of the time. Whenever I was actually playing a machine, I was too high and too paranoid to pay any actual attention to it.

So luckily I barely lost any money. I did get pretty close to losing my mind that night though...

And yet, I somehow still miss a-pvp...
 
I like poker but other kinds of gambling don't do it for me
 
I've been trading cryptocurrencies for a few months. Last time, I had about 150mg of hydrocodone (CWE) and it was ~20mg per shot (glass). So I was taking a shot like every 30 min. until it was long gone. So fun. blahhh. I wish i could do that now.
 
^Same. It’s a rush in itself watching those coins rise and plunge, although adding some hydro never hurt.
 
It's a known side effect of too much dopamine, these agonists used against Parkinson's have it listed. Can imagine it somehow, from how 160mg memantine felt (recommended: 20mg. Don't do it)
 
I used to gamble with slot machines in bars when i was doing coke a lot. That would be my justification for getting a bag. I rarely put more than 20 bucks in. Usually im pretty good at cashing out out when im up or if i go back down cashing out when i break even. not hard to double your money and hey thats an easy half gram right there. ive seen friends lose hundreds and also win hundreds. I guess im good at keeping a good risk/reward ratio. I would never gamble sober, its just something i used to do when i was bored at the bar after work and had cash tips in my pocket
 
Actually the county I was born in, San Bernardino county (the largest county in the United States) has an Indian reservation in Highland that opened a casino in 2004. I started going there once in a while just to play poker, actually that's where I learned poker

It turns out I'm very good at gambling and poker, but the only true gambling I've ever done is play the poker machines a few times, which wasn't bad because I played till I won my money back

I've never lost at gambling. I think it has to do with what kind of gambling you go for. You have to look at your odds
