How do you deal with negative parents?

Normally parents are spoilt baby boomers that are lucky to get what they want in life as there generation in 60s and 70s experienced a better place than now as things were more prosperous in them days unlike today's austerity. Simply to stop negative parents is to not react and argue. Just button your lips and walk out!

If there is a disagreement, it's usually around xmas

"You cooked the ham wrong you idiot" ... "stfu, you told me to do it this way" ... "The pork is getting getting totally burned, the weber is on fire" ... "oh shit, you were supposed to be watching it" ... "i was watching it dimwit" ... "go to bed you're drunk" ... "not as drunk as you fatboy"

Other than that petty shit, i get along with my family just fine
