MDMA don't work even many months after stoping Parnate (Tranylcypormine)

He took MDMA 7 times in his life and after that he started Tranylcypromine (Parnate).

7 Months ago he stopped taking Parnate and even many months after stoping Parnate MDMA gives him only very fast hearth beat and anxiety. Like the only neurotransmitter that would work is Norepinephrin and Seratonine and Dopamine seemed not to be active at all.

Today he snorted 50mg-70mg 3CMC and he experienced almost exact same thing.

Did Parnate changed something in his brain that Dopamine/Seratonin releasers don't work anymore?

Is it possible your depression or anhedonia symptoms got worse after stopping Parnate and that your brain chemicals aren't really available for those drugs?

I forgot to add that he also fucked with Dopamine agonists. He tried Pramipexol and Roponirole after which stoping he had really bad withdrawal.
Altough it's gone now.

Street MDMA? Same source? Grey market 'bathsalts' are more prevalent. Also, N-methyl amphetamine is a common cut, I've known "extasy" (sic) tablet users who later discovered the high they were enjoying were the ones cut with meth. (more dopaminergic.)
