Do women find bi men less manly?

asakly

the idea that a bisexual is no good because they will leave you for the other gender is just a function of your own insecurity. anyone could cheat and anyone could abandon you

surely you should base things on the individual- some people are good no matter their orientation and some are just selfish and nasty no matter orientation

Indeed. It doesn't make any sense. Why would a bisexual man be any more likely to leave you for a man than a straight guy leaving you for another girl?

Personally, I don't really believe in these labels. I think most people are naturally a little bit bisexual. I think it's just socialization making you feel like you have to be all one or the other.

I don't think that's what he's saying is nonsense. What's nonsense is guys thinking a bi girl is hot but thinking if a guy is bi he's just gay.

Well I never said that they're JUST gay, but to me if you're doing anything sexual with your same sex that makes it gay. So sure you can be bi, but IMO it means you're also partially gay because you're attracted to the same sex.

By that logic, a bi girl is a lesbian and you got no chance at all. It's a doubt standard and it's nonsense.

I think there's two types of lesbians, the ones that are strictly lesbians and the ones that fool around once in a while and bring a guy into the mix to spice things up. Does that make them bi? I guess it could. I wish I could meet some of the second type. =D

I think most people are naturally a little bit bisexual. I think it's just socialization making you feel like you have to be all one or the other.

So you don't think people are born totally hetero? I know personally I have zero interest in being sexual with another guy, and nobody ever told me it was wrong or anything.

Can agree with that. Bi's probably get a bad wrap because some people think that since they're willing to be with both sexes that makes them more promiscuous.

As a female id see bisexuality as a perk, if i was seeing them casually.

Perhaps see 2 hot dudes making out? Im down for that anytime.

I totally agree. Not all people are flexible like that and that’s okay. It doesn’t mean you are suppressing anything.

Straight men value their masculinity because that is how they relate with women. The concepts of dominance and masculinity are inseparable from their sexual identity. If any of those things are compromised, the entire equation changes. They view sexual proximity with another man as a threat to their domain and authority. Women might be attracted to men who think like this without necessarily “agreeing” with them. So that explains why bisexual men could be perceived differently by heterosexual men and heterosexual women.

Im kind of spacing out. Sorry if that doesn’t make sense.

Masculinity is a social construct typically accepted by the most insecure of people.

Manliness has nothing to do with sexuality imo.

A man is supposed to be staunch, reliable, grown up, sure of himself and someone who pulls his weight.

Any sexual preference can do that. Sexy men to me are confident and also caring. Its that type of guy that Id want to know and I dunno what they are into until they say something.

Society is changing. Years of supression for sexual ideals are starting to ease up. As well, people are changing their minds about things. However, some never will. I think you need to find someone who has those ideals (trust me, there are plenty of open-minded people out there!) and not worry about everyone else. To me, it is just another preference...like big boobs vs small, or skinny vs curvy. We all have different attractions - doesn't make anyone less of a human!!

I don't even equate being hetero as being masculine. There's plenty of hetero guys that are anything but and plenty of gay guys that are. I just find it heterophobic when people say things like no one's completely hetero. That would be like a gay person saying no one's completely gay. It's like yes... Yes they are. It's debatable sure, but I think people are pretty much born with their sexual identities although obviously not fully developed, but I think the framework is there.

Or a MMF threesome. I think when men think threesome they're thinking FFM. Fuck that shit. Boy boy girl sounds awesome.

Yeah see...no MMF for me. Unless they only touch me. Just my preference. MFF, those are fun. ;)

Soooo,.. you're into FF? Or maybe just F? Your earlier post implied you're into MF but that would make MMF 1 too many M's not 2 too many. I guess you could be a guy and want MM but that would make MMF one too many F's not two too many M's.

I'm probably overthinking this and to be honest it's making my head hurt.

This might be too off topic, but why do they show so much dick in straight porn? What does a straight guy get out of a close up of a big throbbing dick? Are you supposed to pretend it’s yours or something? I’m just curious because I literally can’t understand it. Seems to me they’d try to show as little as possible.

^ No idea. I guess I never thought about it because I'm a girl. I enjoy looking at the man and woman. I always skip the cum shot at the end. Gross IMO.

A major turn off is seeing a guy wearing a condom in porn. I don't want to see people fuck with a condom! It's not aesthetically pleasing at all.

HAHA! I'm a woman. I was trying to say 2 dicks are too many for me. One is plenty. I'm only into one-on-one intimacy. Right now, I'm with a guy. Not against ever trying a woman some day. I've never been interested in threesomes.

I hardly ever watch porn but when I do I either watch solo or lesbian because guys disgust me. lol I also just find most porn unrealistic anyways.
