Vicodin after sedation??

I had to go in for a colonoscopy this morning, and am now considering taking one of the Vicodin 5/325s I have laying around due to the discomfort. They used a partial-sedation during the procedure, and I'm not sure if it safe to do after that kind of anesthesia. Anyone know if taking the Vicodin about 12 hours later can be harmful? Thank you!!

12 hours later is fine.

That is a low dose of hydrocodone

It’s pretty normal to take small doses of opiates after a procedure in which one was partially sedated. Quite common. You’ll be fine.
