Does the cross tolerance between classic psychedelics such as psilocybin and lsd have a shorter duration than the tolerance between trips of the same substance? For example, if I were to take lsd I would wait at least 2 weeks to take it again to get the full effect. But if I were to take lsd, would I be able to take psilocybin sooner and still get the full effect?

only partly, each hits receptors in a slightly different collection of brain centers, and some of the centers are in common.... those are the ones suffering the greatest tolerance.

even with lysergamides, which seem each to have its own specific bouquet or symphony of effects, if you are switching it up, you get better results tolerance wise, and they will each seem even more different, as the receptors in the common range become more tolerance depressed or used up, leaving mostly the receptors that are uniquely hit by the specific variant of drug.
