Is there such thing as a permanent cannabis tolerance?

A good exercise session will reverse or undo built up tolerance I've noticed. I'm also a runner of sorts. Back when I wasn't exercising at all my tolerance was way higher but since I exercise consistently it stays pretty close to baseline even though I smoke almost every day. Without even taking so much as a break if I go for a good hour long run or go pound out some intervals on the track and then smoke later it feels like I took a break. It feels like being a newbie again. Combine regular exercise, with a few days breaks here and there with moderation will keep you at or near baseline for the most part.
